Every mid-September, two-weeks after Labor Day, the Delta Blues Festival offers food, crafts, and amazing live blues music to the community. The festival begins every year at noon. Located in downtown Antioch, we are an alcohol-free event catering to families and the community.
The DBF takes place at Waldie Plaza, just off 2nd street with the San Joaquin River as its backdrop. Enjoy beautiful downtown Antioch with its comfortable late-Summer weather. Bring picnic blankets and low-backed lawn chairs to stay all day and enjoy the festival. Come early to get a good spot!
Colorful vendors line the buildings of Waldie Plaza with craft booths, displaying their wares. Food vendors arrive early to prepare fresh-made food, ready to fill your tummies with chicken and waffles, Creole delicacies, sweets, and more.
On stage, live blues music is performed all day from noon to 7:30 PM. Entertainers include Local, National, and International talent. The best of the best in the blues world have performed at festivals past. They continue to grace our stage and this year is no exception. If you'd like to see this year's line up, please click

100% volunteer operated! That’s right, it’s a gift to the community and no one makes a profit! We operate as a not-for-profit organization under the Arts & Cultural Foundation of Antioch. To keep admission free, the DBF is sponsored by: the City of Antioch, local businesses, and supporters of the community. Please check out our sponsor page and support them.
This is important, because without our sponsors, there would be no festival. We plan on keeping this event free to the public forever. We are grateful and appreciative of our volunteers and the generous support of our sponsors.
