With a predilection for the deepest and funkiest of deep funky house, DJ Rasoul (real name Guy Nado) has done much to put the Bay Area on the map as a hip and happening place. Originally from the Ivory Coast in West Africa, he moved to the States as a young boy in 1975. Rasoul dabbled in all sorts of music as a teenager but became serious about house after hooking up with San Francisco's pioneering 3rd Floor Productions team in 1990. Amongst others, the group included such noteworthy characters as DJs Digit -- who went on to set up the famous BPM Records label -- and EFX. Throughout the early '90s, Rasoul released his own records and remixed for others under a variety of monikers including the Mad African and Dredman. Then, following a brief stint in London working mostly as a DJ, he returned home in 1996 to again concentrate on production work. Over the next few years, Rasoul did no harm to his reputation by working with some of America's most respected underground dance labels -- Large, 83 West, and Guidance. During this period, his Soul Searching series of albums released on Large proved especially popular.

ZITA MOLNAR

https://www.facebook.com/zmsound
https://soundcloud.com/zitamolnar

She started in classical music at age 7 playing violin. Never in her wildest dreams did she think that one day she would be a DJ....It all started when Zita's friends invited her to attend the Winter Music Conference in Miami. This is where she met UK based DJ D:Folt, who encouraged her to follow a passion that she clearly held close to her heart, and to dive into the electronic music scene. Zita learned her basics on vinyl at Music Industry Workshop from Brian Boncher then continued spinning on CDJs. A try turned into a passion and the rest is history. Her musical influences include: old school progressive and tech-trance, then Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, and Adam Beyer to name a few, as well as the sounds of Burning Man Festival. The result is a deep tech-house, minimalistic and progressive sound produced by the current and forward thinking musician that you hear today, Zita Molnar.

Zita's past performances included Crobar Chicago, Vision, Climax, Spybar, Ontourage, Sound Bar, UN, Good Bar, Victor Hotel, Drink, Enclave, Sound Bar, Leg Room, Seattle's Trinity, Houston' Richs, Las Vegas' Palm's Place, Fort Wayne IN, San Francisco's Slide and Supper Club, and various music festivals and raves through out Illinois, Wisconsin, and Iowa. One can also listen to her mixes on 92.5, 92.7, and 99.9FM in Chicago, on Dance Factory Radio.
