Erin Goodwin-Guerrero is a former art lecturer at San Jose State and the founder of Artshift San Jose, a volunteer-run blog which covered the Silicon Valley visual arts scene from 2007-2011. Her current solo show at The CSMA in Mountain View “explores the fundamental issues of religious and scientific world-views,” “life and death” and “good versus evil.” Her mixed media collages frequently drop historical and mythological archetypes into the chaos of present day and recall the collage work of early dadaists, like Marcel Duchamp. (Nick Veronin)
