Your ticket to Deathbed Stories is an heirloom object -- something you have received, or something that you would hand down. Entering the Gronowski Chapel, participants will place their object anywhere in the room. The resulting heirloom arrangement will then unfold into a living network of bodies -- present and absent, still and moving, sounding and silent. Taking off from the story of Jacob's death, the ritual will open a portal to the collision of past and future, and turn physical heirlooms into now-time encounters with Jewish spiritual inheritance.
