Celebrating 25 years as champions of classical and contemporary music, Left Coast Chamber Ensemble reveals the expressive intent of composers from every era. For their upcoming concert, they are excited to be in the heart of the Mission at Z Space, presenting an evening of two new chamber operas:
The West Coast premiere of Never Was A Knight... Kurt Rohde's singspiel in vignettes told through journeys, reveries, ramblings and transformations from Cervantes's Don Quixote.

A new production of Kurt Rohde and Tom Laqueur's Death With Interruptions. In this tale by Jose Saramago, Death falls in love with a cellist. Difficult and fascinating complications ensue. Don't miss these two vital new works from one of San Francisco's most dynamic ensembles.
