When two strangers from opposite sides of the country move into the same downtown Mill Valley apartment building, meet, and realize they both love wine, they both enjoy whiskey, and they're both a bit obsessed with songwriting, singing and playing guitar, a friendship is born and a duo is formed.
Renee Harcourt of Blame Sally fame, and New York City transplant John McConnel are "Dear John Love Renee," and together they deliver smart songwriting, tight harmonies and rootsy guitar picking all hovering in the Americana/Folk/Pop genre. Their sound has been compared to The Everly Brothers, Simon and Garfunkel and The Civil Wars. Sadly, things have not gone so smoothly for their feline family members, Dingo and Goobie, who seem to despise each other and fight almost daily.
