On the Day of the dead, skeletons come alive: Every year from Oct. 31-Nov. 2 (okay, three days) Mexicans across the globe celebrate, honor and remember friends and family no longer with us. It's a long-held tradition that's inspired beautiful art that—while sometimes ghoulish on the surface—reminds us of the importance of loved ones, the evanescence of life and the mysterious nature of the soul. This Day of the Dead-inspired show—"Honoring Seven Generations"—will run through Nov. 2, and feature artwork, photography and a community altar.
