David Pace Gallery Dedication & First Look of David Pace Exhibition

Join the ICA on August 6th, 4-5PM to celebrate the opening of the David Pace Gallery and the inaugural exhibition honoring photographer, filmmaker, educator, and curator David Pace (1951-2020). David Pace: Speaking Through Images will be on view August 6th, 2021 to February 22nd, 2022.
Kind, warm, and always full of enthusiasm, David Pace was a soft-spoken man who spoke from his heart and through his art and images. He was an integral part of the ICA, serving on the board of directors for 25 years and chairing the curatorial committee for more than a decade. He guest-curated well-received ICA shows, including This is not a Book in 2001 and "Photographer Unknown" in 2002, and, for many years, provided installation shots for the website for almost every exhibition.
This new gallery space increases the total square footage of the ICA by ~800 square ft, allowing for significant expansion of our exhibitions programming.
David Pace: Speaking Through Images is generously supported by our David Pace Legacy Fund donors. A special thanks to Pete and Nicki Moffat for their generous support in the design and build out of the space.
