Dark Bright is a new band pioneered by Northern California based Kirana Peyton and Joni Davis. Discovering they had a mutual love of distorted guitars, analogue synths and dark chocolate led them to hours of musical explorations. Their histories have combined to create Dark Bright - a band of two voices, electric guitar and keyboards that creates an atmosphere of hard edges and beauty. Their music is informed by all that inspires them, including the Northern California landscape, visual arts, the written word and the natural world. Musical inspiration comes from Radiohead, Lhasa de Sela, PJ Harvey, Leonard Cohen and Amon Tobin.
