Dances of the Sephardi Jews 101

Celebrate Israel through learning about the Dance traditions of the Mizrachi/Sephardi Jews.   Study with Miriam Peretz, internationally acclaimed instructor and performing artist specializing in traditional and contemporary dances from the Silk Road, Middle East & beyond. This hour and a half dance workshop will focus on the dances of Sephardic Jews from the Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia.  We will focus on dances from Yemen, Morocco & Uzbekistan.  Dancers and non dancers are all welcome as well as any gender! Come ready to dance!
