He is renown in San Francisco's recording world, having produced The Grateful Dead, Quicksilver Messenger Service, Sopwith Camel, Sir Douglas Quintet, Tracy Nelson and many other Bay Area groups. Dan's background in the San Francisco music scene began in the early '60's, and includes being chief sound engineer for over three decades with The Grateful Dead.
Dan is joined by these veteran players:
Marcus David is a well-traveled drummer. He's played with the likes of Clover (w/Huey Lewis), Albert King, Nick Gravenites, guitar legend John Cipollina, Barry "The Fish" Melton and a host of others.
John Ruch, 20 years of work with hundreds of indy record labels starting in the 80s eventually transported JR from the Boston area to the North Bay, where now he plays an 8 string baritone guitar with his wife Juliane.
Zack Stewart is the group's jazz trained bassist & token millennial. Like all millennial musicians he misspent his youth playing house shows in pretentious and intentionally obscure bands with "post" and "core" in their genre descriptors.
The band plays Healy originals, & covers of The Band, Dylan, some old C&W/Blues, as well as some well loved Good Old Grateful Dead songs!
