Ten actors, four playwrights, one singer-songwriter, and one clown explore the meaning of democratic engagement, with inspiration from the Greeks. Utopia Theatre Project Artistic Director Maryssa Wanlass and Bay Area playwrights Cleavon Smith, Carol Lashof, and Kenneth Heaton take on the issues of political organizing, voter suppression and voter apathy. Joining them are satirical singer-songwriter Lauren Mayer and clown Amelia Adams.
