Cynthia Lin: Ukulele Days Album Release Concert + Sing-along

San Francisco ukulele songstress Cynthia Lin celebrates the release of Ukulele Days, her first collection of cover songs inventively interpreted on the versatile four-string instrument. With material ranging from classic jazz and Beatles to 80’s and Beyonce, Cynthia curated the album selections from her #100DaysofUkuleleSongs project, which helped make her YouTube channel a favorite among ukulele enthusiasts. Through her popular YouTube channel and approachable teaching style, Cynthia has helped thousands of people across the world to discover the joy of ukulele. As a singer-songwriter, Cynthia has released 4 album recordings independently and performs regularly solo, with a jazz combo, and with her acclaimed Bay Area band, Cynthia Lin and the Blue Moon All Stars. She encourages you to follow your passion. ABOUT ALFABorn in the Philippine countryside and raised on the East Coast playing classical music, singer-songwriter Alfa approaches pop music from a unique source, blending dynamic melodies with an array of instruments - guitar, ukulele, violin, piano, and the occasional kazoo. Music Connection has called her “an artist who has a spectrum of colors in her palette, a songwriter with a knack for tickling a mainstream ear.” Alfa often performs throughout U.S. colleges and in her native Philippines, and has opened for Sam Smith, Us the Duo, and Howie Day. Her 2013 album “World Go Blue” entered the CMJ Top 200 charts, with songs heard on E!, MTV, and films like Old Fashioned (Skoche Films) and Baby Steps (produced by the producer of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.) She’s extremely excited to celebrate her next studio album “Spark & Fury,” which debuted on June 23.

PARKINGStreet parking is free after 6pm. We’re located 2 blocks from Powell BART, numerous muni lines and there are 3 parking lots within 1 block.
