RCW is proud to present The Cuban Maestro, Fito Reinoso y sus Clasicos De Cuba to launch its 2014 Island Arts Concert series. Fito and his band have entertained audiences from Yoshi's to the San Francisco and San Jose Jazz Festivals.
A major force in the Bay Area Latin music scene for over a decade, Fito performs a variety of styles from urban Havana grooves to timba to the classic son, mambo, rumba and cha-cha-cha. Fito has played with Cuban legends including Francisco Aguabella, Armando Peraza, Carlos Patato Valdez and Israel Cachao Lopez. The evening kicks off with a beginner dance lesson at 7:30pm with Salsa with Rebecca.
