BIOS
Laura Wiley, flute  
Laura Wiley sings and plays flute throughout the Bay Area. She loves playing as a duo with Dave Casini on vibes. Other ensembles include the Resonance Jazz Ensemble and the Laura Wiley Quartet.
She has appeared on a dozen CDs. Waiting for Rain, They Say It's Wonderful, Contingency Plans and January Rain are just a few.
This fall, she will perform at the Castro Valley Library, on Sunday, November 4th at 2pm.

David Casini, vibraphone 


Dave Casini has has been playing jazz since 1970. He plays on two CDs released in 2018: Tribu’s El Matador and Octobop’s Live at Savanna Jazz.

As a drummer, Dave plays with the Unimpeachable Jazz Quartet focusing on original compositions.
He has performed with Vince Wallace, Kurt Ribak, ‘Jimi Jazz’ Prescott, Jim Grantham, Bill ‘Doc’ Webster, Dave Slusser, Bruce Ackley and Ches Smith among others.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?There are no ID requirements for the concert series.The concert space is very open and acoustically live, so it's important to keep audience noise to a minimum so everyone can enjoy the music.Children who are able to be quiet for the duration of a :45 to :50 musical performance are welcome.  What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?The Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption is located at 1111 Gough between Geary and Ellis Streets. The 38 Geary stops nearby. There is also a good sized parking lot. What can I bring into the event?The performance takes place inside our sanctuary space, so please don't bring in food to eat or drink.How can I contact the organizer with any questions?The Cathedral Music Department can answer your questions at (415) 567-2020 x 213 from Wednesday through Saturday, between 10 am and 2 pm.What's the refund policy?Donation tickets can be refunded up to a day before the concert. You can also transfer tickets.Do I need to bring a printed copy of my ticket?You don't need to bring a printout: we can see donation "tickets" on Eventbrite.
