Join the Monterey Museum of Art as they host a presentation with Stephen R. Palumbi, Ph.D., a conservationist, marine biologist, and Director of the Hopkins Marine Station at Stanford University. He will discuss the lives and works of Jacques Cousteau and John Steinbeck, and the impact they had on conservation, connecting science, art, and agriculture on the Monterey Peninsula. Stephen will also discuss his book, The Extreme Life of the Sea, an exploration of amazing species in the sea that was co-written with his son, novelist Anthony Palumbi.
