Cosmic Twang featuring Nicki Bluhm
plus San Geronimo, Go By Ocean
Scott Law & Ross James first met at Phil Lesh's Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael, and have been blazing a trail through their own blend of psychedelic country rock n' roll music ever since. They share a passion for pushing musical boundaries, and have an amazing sense of improvisation and connection. On any given night you will hear the influences of Bill Monroe, Merle Haggard, The Grateful Dead, or the Velvet Underground running through their music. Cosmic Twang are recognized for their stellar sit-ins, and their unique ability to bring those guests into their musical fold. Memorable collaborations have included Phil Lesh, Dave Schools, Neal Casal, and Cass McCombs. For this very special San Francisco appearance, they'll be joined by the one and only Nicki Bluhm.

After spending the last six years as lead singer and front person of Nicki Bluhm and the Gramblers, as well as recent high-profile collaborations and performances with the likes of Phil Lesh, Ryan Adams, and The Infamous Stringdusters, Nicki Bluhm is stepping out on her own with her new album, TO RISE YOU GOTTA FALL. Recorded in Memphis at legendary Sam Phillips Recording, Bluhm brought in producer Matt Ross-Spang (Margo Price, Jason Isbell), and the end result heralds Nicki's arrival as a songwriter and vocalist of great depth and immediacy.
