Over 6,000 dance music fans, runners, joggers, and party-goers are getting ready to experience an unseen world of futuristic lights, neon colors, and electronic dance music, on November 23, 2013, as they participate in Cosmic Run San Francisco at Candlestick Park. “Cosmonauts”, as participants are called, take a nocturnal five-kilometer journey filled with “worlds” of expansive and animating lighting zones, and transform into fluorescent-glowing hues while passing through “worlds of cosmic colors”. As if that weren’t enough to make cosmic-goers feel the sensations of another world, Cosmic Run produces a full-scale electronic dance music concert that is headlined by some of the music industries most talented and popular DJ’s and producers. The San Francisco event will be co- headlined by breakout EDM star MAKJ, who is fresh off his main stage performance at TomorrowWorld, and the one and only Starkillerz. As event founder Jon Stephens explains, “You’re experiencing a premiere dance music festival as much as you are participating in a futuristic 5K experience.”
