Corazon Under the Dome Summer Light Spectacular

Corazon Under the Dome is a six-minute state-of-the-art musical light show celebrating iconic San Francisco with animated images and sing-along songs projected on the Centre’s historic 102-foot wide dome. From the Gold Rush to the Summer of Love and beyond, Corazon Under the Dome will delight guests with classics from Tony Bennett, Otis Redding, Judy Garland, Journey and The Steve Miller Band, to name a few. The show features images of the gold mining era of the 1840s, the 1906 earthquake, 1930s jazz, the Beatnik era of the 1950s, disco of the 1970s and San Francisco’s beautiful new waterfront in the 1990s. From the famous cable cars and Coit Tower to Fisherman’s Wharf and the Ferry Building, Corazon Under the Dome is a stunning visual and musical journey through San Francisco history.

The show is located on Level Four of Westfield San Francisco Centre and runs nightly starting at 5:00 p.m. and then every half hour until the Centre closes. Monday-Saturday, the last show is at 8:30 p.m. On Sunday, the last show is at 7:00 p.m.

New Weekly Summer Concert Series
Reviving a tradition established by The Emporium department store’s historic bandstand in the early 20th century, Westfield San Francisco Centre will host live acoustical performances by Bay Area musicians under the dome on Thursday, Friday and Saturday afternoons from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. A schedule of bands will be available at https://www.westfield.com/sanfrancisco.

Fourth of July Weekend Kick-Off with Picnic Under the Dome
New this year, Westfield San Francisco Centre will host live performances and a Picnic Under the Dome from noon – 5:00 p.m., Friday, July 4 and Saturday, July 5 in celebration of the Fourth of July weekend. Guests attending the retro-themed picnic will enjoy music and special Fourth of July treats, including lemonade, cotton candy and a photo booth, and are encouraged to wear fashions from their favorite decade.


Summer Happy Hours or Dinner at the Restaurant Collection Under the Dome
Westfield San Francisco Centre invites visitors to enjoy a viewing of Corazon Under the Dome with a meal at the Restaurant Collection Under the Dome. Guests can enjoy a first-class epicurean experience from a diverse collection of cuisines including modern Chinese at M.Y. China by world-famous chef Martin Yan, authentic Italian at Cupola Pizzeria, a timeless steak, chop and seafood house at Lark Creek Steak, Southeast Asian at Straits or enjoy wine and light bites at La Boulange du Dome. Cupola Pizzeria, La Boulange du Dome and M.Y. China feature patio seating and views of the Dome.

In 2013, Westfield San Francisco Centre won a Gold Apex Award at the Digital Signage Expo® (DSE) for its semi-annual light show productions – Illuminique Under the Dome and Corazon Under the Dome – honoring innovative technology in the global Digital Out-of-Home industry.

Westfield partnered with Obscura Digital, a San Francisco-based creative technology studio, to conceive and create the show using one-of-a-kind 3-D mapping technology. Obscura is also responsible for the stunning San Francisco Ballet’s Nutcracker Under the Dome annual holiday light spectacular at Westfield. Their portfolio boasts building projections across the world including the Sydney Opera House in Australia, Guggenheim Museum in New York and Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles. Corazon Under the Dome is an unrivaled “must-see” for Bay Area locals and visitors from around the world.
