Cool Down the Planet with Shovels - Presentation and Exhibit

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Please join us for an informative session with Wessel van Eeden of Justdiggit, a non-profit with a clear and simple solution to fight global warming. If we can warm up the earth…we can cool it down again.
Ecosystems provide us with all the important things in life such as water, food, biodiversity and a healthy climate. With the 7.3 billion people currently living on our planet we create way too much pressure on these ecosystems. With the daily growth of 250,000 extra people we have to take better care of these ecosystems to create a liveable planet for the future.
Wessel van Eeden is a social marketer with a passion for big ideas. At Justdiggit he has an even stronger belief that the ecological problems we face can only be dealt with if we are able to inform, inspire and mobilize people, companies and governments.

“Our shovel stands for countless opportunities, it turns dry lands back into healthy soils and deserts into farmlands. The iconic shovel deserves to be seen”.
Misho has invited Bay Area local artists to join in support of Justdiggit's re-greening the planet efforts by painting a shovel.  Artists include: Johnny Botts, Chad Glashoff, Gordon Huether, John Kraft, Paul Morin and Yari Ostovany.  Additional shovels painted by Dutch artists will also be on display.
