Please join us for lunch and conversation focusing on WOMEN.
We're taking a crack at this massive topic over some good wine and good food with some smart people. It is so important that people of all gender identities join in the conversation.
The afternoon will include table discussion, wine and a three-course, family style lunch.
100% of ticket sales will be donated to The Young Women's Health Leadership Summit which is sponsored by the UCSF National Center for Excellence in Women's Health.
Questions and topics to be discussed :
What feminism means in 2017, politically, socially and between generations? Why women's health and equal access are inseperable. Implicit bias, the fatherhood bonus, the motherhood penalty and the crisis of caregiving in America. The experience of women in business and those who work for them, employ them and work alongside them.
The Civic Table Project is an experiment in having conversations surrounding American civic life.
At Nopa and Nopalito, we believe that shared food and drink is, and always has been, a powerful vehicle for these conversations.
The project was born out of our growing sense of responsibility to create hospitable spaces to explore some of the most pressing questions of our communities.
The series will center around conversation based engagement, asking better questions, being more generous listeners and being more curious across party lines.
