On the Third Thursday of each month, YBCA combines drinks, food, and music with creative and exciting art happenings. From 5-8 come together, enjoy free access to our world class galleries, and be part of the art at YBCA.
In January, we invite you to join us for an evening of food, drinks, art, and conversation with the artists featured in Work in Progress: Investigations South of Market. Artists in conversation include Terry Berlier, Val Britton, Tom Loughlin, Weston Teruya, and an interactive project with Stadium Projects (Joshua Peder Stulen, Monte Masi, and Lex Kosieradzki). Don’t miss this opportunity to discuss important and inspiring projects and collaborations that are happening in our SOMA neighborhood.
All Evening: DJ set by John Fucking Cartwright
5:30 PM: Gallery Tour of Metahaven: The Sprawl and Kevin Cooley: Golden Prospects
6:00 PM: Work in Progress Artists Conversations and Action, Grand Lobby and Gallery 1
*Also visit the Cat Museum of San Francisco and stay for the Internet Cat Video Festival in the Screening Room at 7:30 PM.
