Timothy Ryan (DJ Timoteo Gigante) regularly performs with Motown On Mondays (MOM), a group that produces weekly events in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York and Austin along with being featured at many festivals and one-offs each year. MOM DJs is inspired by a creative movement that honors artists like Stevie Wonder, The Supremes and Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin, Otis Redding, and Mary Wells. MOM travels on the shoulders of these musical giants while celebrating and preserving their achievements for generations to come.
About Public Works:
During the day, artists conceive and produce work that will come to light…in the night. As the sun goes down, the electronic and indie music scenes bubble up to fill this new home for the SF Underground. From DJ dance parties and live bands to independent film screenings and performance art, Public Works is a happening, a hangout and always an adventure.
