A Jazz Concert Benefit for HIV-affected Children
featuring The Kim Nalley Band

[San Francisco, CA] Sunburst Projects, a nonprofit 501c3 organization that has provided services to strengthen and empower HIV-affected children and families since 1982, will be hosting an evening of Music, Dinner, Art and Fine Wine on Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 6:00p.m. to 10:00p.m. at the ballroom of the San Francisco Elks Lodge. The “Keeping Dreams Alive” Jazz benefit concert will showcase legendary Bay Area jazz and blues vocalist, Kim Nalley and her band, and Visual Performance Art by Live Painter, Suzie Ferras of Creative IQ.

Ticket includes a reception with hors d’oeuvres, a four-course dinner and an array of award winning wines produced by local vintners. Tickets can be purchased online at: sunburstprojects.org. Guests will have the opportunity to win silent auction and raffles prizes, which include artwork, jewelry, sweet treats, excursions and more! All proceeds will benefit Sunburst Projects programs and activities. Some of Sunburst Projects’ programming includes:

Camp Sunburst – a sleep away summer camp for HIV affected children ages 6-18
One Love Conference – guides HIV positive youth ages 18-26 by transitioning from pediatric to adult self-care
Support Groups for HIV positive Women – many are mothers to young children
Family Nights – support group that achieves ‘family preservation’ for families affected by HIV
Mental Health Case Management – addressing child psychological issues caused by HIV stigma
Healthy Women and Babies – ensuring healthy, pregnant HIV positive women birth healthy HIV babies
