On Thursday, December 4th at Code and Canvas in San Francisco, Project AMPLIFI will present Concert & Conversation (C2), a gathering of diverse thought-leaders and community stakeholders. The event will feature an intimate musical performance preceded by a curated panel discussion about the economic, political and societal challenges San Francisco faces as it seeks to sustain a vibrant music and arts community.
Sponsored by The Bold Italic, C2’s panelists will include Jocelyn Kane, Executive Director of the San Francisco Entertainment Commission, Lynn Schwartz, owner of Bottom of The Hill, Kim-Mai Cutler, writer with TechCrunch, and John Yi, Co-Founder of Code and Canvas. This conversation will be moderated by Walter Thompson, producer of Golden City, a documentary that analyzes emerging technologies role in transforming housing and transportation in San Francisco.
Following an in-depth dialogue between panelists, attendees will enjoy live musical performances by local artists Owl Paws followed by Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter, Carolyn Malachi. Guests will also be treated to small bites provided by Kasa Indian Eatery, beer from Lagunitas Brewing Co., and more food and beverage to be announced.
