ABOUT ATISH
Listed, Desert Hearts

https://www.facebook.com/atishmusic
https://www.soundcloud.com/atish

The Atish experience: deep, emotive, ecstatic. It is more than the beautiful sounds emanating from the speakers, though, it is also the man behind the decks: warm, compassionate, inviting. In an age of oversized DJ egos there is still an artist who is devoted to connecting with his audience, a humble soul with a pure passion for music. This is Atish.

Atish occupies a rare space in dance music. At a time when most DJs rise to prominence primarily through their work as producers, Atish’s success has been realized through his total devotion to the art of DJing. What began at a small gig back in 2010 in San Francisco has since flowered into a magical journey around the world at clubs, festivals, and afterhours on six of the seven continents.

His success comes as no surprise to anyone who has seen Atish DJ live or listened to one of his mixes. With a combination of sophistication and accessibility, his sets are expressive journeys in melodic deep house that create lasting emotional experiences for the listener. Atish is also a natural performer, engaging the crowd with a mixture of charisma and charm. He’s been known to don costumes and wigs when he spins, a playfulness that balances the strict discipline and obsessiveness he has for DJing.

Atish’s natural talent and passion for music haven’t gone unnoticed. Lee Burridge asked Atish to play on the legendary Robot Heart bus sound system at Burning Man in 2011, and Atish has been invited back every year since. He’s also been honored to open for or tag with some of the most respected names in dance music including John Digweed, Danny Howells, Guy Gerber, M.A.N.D.Y., and Tyrant. Currently, Atish is a resident of San Francisco-based Listed Productions, the Desert Hearts family, a West Coast collaborative who put on the highly respected semi-annual Desert Hearts festival, and he is a resident of Behrouz’s Miami club, Do Not Sit on the Furniture.

ABOUT MARK SLEE
Listed, Cityfox

https://www.facebook.com/marksleemusic
https://www.soundcloud.com/mcslee

Hailing from San Francisco, Mark Slee is known to wear many creative hats. But two of his all-time favorite fashions are that of DJ and producer. Since co-founding House-Heads in 2008, a collective combining forward-thinking music with a quirky underground vibe, he has gone on to join the Listed Bookings roster and host the monthly mix show Heron Sound on Proton Radio. He is also one half of Manju Masi, a collaboration with long-time partner in crime Atish.

Over the course of an obsession with dance music now more than 15 years strong, Slee has evolved a style of deep house that reflects a unique personality, balancing intricate grooves, dreamy textures, and playful whimsical bounce. Blending his technical side with intuition and introspection, he takes an approach that tickles both mind and soul.

Slee's sets have taken him far and wide, playing for audiences from Cape Town to Playa del Carmen, from Robot Heart to the Cityfox series in NYC. On the home front, his penchant for diverse and well-crafted warmup sets sees him regularly playing SF's top clubs, opening for DJs like Danny Tenaglia, Danny Howells, Lee Burridge, Guy Gerber, Mathew Dekay, Vincenzo, Andre Lodemann, and Hector.

Rounding things out are his original productions and remixes, released on Cityfox, Tenampa, 5 and Dime, and Looq.

ABOUT WILL SPENCER
Concept, The Qoöl Happy Hour

https://www.facebook.com/djwillspencer
https://www.soundcloud.com/willspencer

Will wasn't a child prodigy classically-trained from birth. Rather, he worked hard to be the DJ he is today, spending 15 years honing his skills and taste on San Francisco's stages, at desert undergrounds, in the dust storms of Burning Man, and in clubs everywhere from Miami to Belgium. You could say he came by it honestly.

Will is also a creator of the innovative Concept series of events (facebook.com/conceptSF), and a resident of San Francisco's renowned Qoöl Happy Hour.

He's been called "San Francisco's best-kept secret." But none of that matters, because when you're lost in the moment, somewhere in a physical swirl of tech-house and techno, the last thing on your mind will be keeping secrets.
