In celebration of its 7th Anniversary, Fieldwork Brewing Company presents Comatopia By The Bay featuring live performances by The Brothers Comatose, Sean Hayes, and Marty O'Reilly & The Old Soul Orchestra at The UC Theatre on Friday, April 22, 2022. Fieldwork Brewing takes over the taps at UC Theatre and features three collaboration beers brewed with The Brothers Comatose, including Painted Gold Pale Ale, Morning Time Coffee Stout, and Tops of the Trees West Coast IPA.
A darling of the summer festival circuit for several years, Comatopia (in the Sierra foothills) was renowned for uniting The Brothers Comatose's close-knit Bay Area community of friends and family with an array of their favorite bands. At The UC Theatre, the tradition lives on with a highly curated set design, exceptional craft beers by Fieldwork Brewing, and bands sure to make this an unforgettable evening in the Bay.
About the Bands
The Brothers Comatose
https://www.thebrotherscomatose.com
Whether traveling to gigs on horseback or by tour bus, Americana mavens The Brothers Comatose forge their own path with West Coast renderings of traditional bluegrass, country and rock 'n' roll music. The five-piece string band is anything but a traditional acoustic outfit with their fierce musicianship and rowdy, rock concert-like shows. BroCo is comprised of brothers Ben Morrison (guitar, vocals) and Alex Morrison (banjo, vocals), Steve Height (bass), Philip Brezina (violin), and Greg Fleischut (mandolin, vocals). When they're not headlining The Fillmore for a sold-out show or appearing at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival, the band is out on the road performing across America, Canada, Australia, and beyond.
Sean Hayes

Sean Hayes is a Bay Area singer-songwriter who makes music to dance to or cry to, or maybe both at the same time. He was born in New York City, raised in North Carolina, and honed his earliest musical chops in a band playing Irish and old-time tunes - but his unique style of deeply felt, R&B-inflected folk really matured during his two decades singing and playing in cafes, bars, and night clubs of San Francisco.
Marty O'Reilly & the Old Soul Orchestra
https://www.martyoreilly.com
Marty O'Reilly & the Old Soul Orchestra featuring Marty O'Reilly (vocals, guitar), Ben Berry (upright bass), Matt Goff (drums, percussion), and Chris Lynch (violin, keys) have experienced their journey together as a family while inviting fans into an extended family through consistently unforgettable gigs. After logging countless miles on the road, generating 10 million-plus streams independently, and earning critical acclaim from the media, Marty and co. evolve together once again on their third full-length album, Signal Fires. Recorded in a giant funky house overlooking the coast surrounded by loved ones, Signal Fires is lighthearted, fun, and its overflowing with positivity.
