COLLEEN MCCRYSTLE PRESENTS “VISIONS OF MAUI” EXHIBIT AT NEWPARK MALL’S CULTURAL CORNER

WHAT: McCrystle’s paintings are a multimedia response to the flora, fauna and people of Maui and inspired by a love of the natural environment as well as the desire to preserve it. In addition, McCrystle’s work from the past year, including pieces created at the August 2013 Cultural Corner, will be exhibited during this installation.
While there is no official opening, the public is cordially invited to attend an informal meet and greet session each Sunday from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Cultural Corner. During the meet and greet, McCrystle will demonstrate various painting and drawing techniques. She will also discuss the inspiration for the exhibit. Children are welcome as McCrystle is a teacher and an art educator and truly values children of all ages.
