In partnership with the Hand Bookbinders of California, the American Bookbinders Museum presents a 3-hour lecture/workshop. This is the second project in the series: Be a Page in a Book. Presented by Danièle Archambault, Servane Briand and Paloma Lucas
There will be a short presentation on the 2017 Veterans Collaborative Comic Book Project (Be a Page in a Book #1), followed by a hands-on comic book workshop. During the workshop, participants will be creating a comic page based on the theme: “what books mean to me” and experience the binding structure that will be used for this artists’ book.
Workshop attendees have the option to add a self-guided tour of the Bookbinders Museum at a special price.
