SCHEDULE:
8:00-9pm: All level class with guest teacher Alex Moncada, Colombian Tango Champion
9:00pm-12:00am: Milonga with danceable traditional Tango live music by Lagrimas Y Sonrisas and DJ Olga Bogotova
9:45pm and 11:00pm: Live music sets by Lagrimas Y Sonrisas (Melissa Bowman, flute; Mary Jo Pena, piano; and Christianna Valentina, voice)
Entrance: $15 general/$10 seniors/students with ID
Mr. Tango Shoes is celebrating his 22nd Anniversary in business and offers a special shoe sale during the event: buy one pair of Tango shoes (women or men) and get a 2nd pair at 50% off! Come try them on!!!
Every 2nd Saturday of the month, CMC and Tango dance faculty member Sonja Riket host a monthly Milonga (Argentine Tango social dance gathering) with a drop-in class and dancing to Tango music from the Golden Era and beyond. This Milonga series will include live music and dance performances by local and international Tango guests.
Enjoy dancing in the beautiful Victorian concert hall with smooth wooden floor and outdoor patio! Come to listen and watch or join in the dance. All ages are welcome!
