This month we are celebrating the International Day of Tango and Carlos Gardel’s birthday (12/11) with a special Live Vocal Showcase featuring Gardel’s and other traditional Tango songs.
8 – 8:50pm: All level dance class with host Sonja Riket
9pm – 12:00am: Milonga with DJ Yuki
10pm: Live Vocal Showcase
Entrance: $15 adults /$10 seniors & students with ID
CMC and Tango dance faculty member Sonja Riket host a monthly Milonga (Argentine Tango social dance gathering) with a drop-in class and dancing to Tango music from the Golden Era and beyond. This Milonga series will include live music and dance performances by local and international Tango guests.
Enjoy dancing in the beautiful Victorian concert hall with outdoor patio. Come to listen and watch or join in the dance. All ages are welcome.
