Sound academic techniques will be introduced.
Students will be divided into groups of three. Each group will have their own live model, holding a single pose throughout. Students will have the opportunity to work from a variety of viewpoints to obtain a fully finished and accurate representation within the range of their experience and ability.
A number of lectures and demonstrations will be given focusing on better understanding the anatomy and the construction of the human head and its features. Stages of the classical drawing process will be explained and practiced.
