Artist Bio
Sakura Maki is a saxophonist who was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. She started playing trumpet in her elementary school band at the age of 9 and started playing jazz tenor saxophone at the age of 13. In 2017, she entered Kunitachi College of Music, majoring in jazz music in Japan. At the same time, she played a lot of live music venues in Tokyo. She transferred to the California Jazz Conservatory in the spring of 2019. Her music style is influenced not only by jazz but also by many other forms of Asian popular music. She is studying to become a mixing engineer and producer at the same time as performing. She is expanding her range as a musician as much as possible.

Artist Bio
Autumn Salvo is a composer and an upright and electric bassist from the Bay Area. She has studied for the past three years with Jeff Denson and is in the graduating class of the California Jazz Conservatory. She started playing the bass when she was 14 and has played in many different bands ranging in all types of music since. Autumn started this group with a few of her close friends in 2022 and is grateful to show her original music with this band.

Veotis Latichson is a multi instrumentalist and composer from Oakland, California. He is known for his singing and for playing the piano and trombone. While he is not composing for one of his many bands, Veotis is earning his bachelors in jazz studies at the California Jazz Conservatory.

Josh Aldana is a guitarist from the Bay Area. He has previously studied at Chabot and is now currently in the degree program at the CJC. Josh plays and loves many different types of music and has studied music with Jonathon Kreisberg and Romain Pilon.

Carson Grimes is a versatile drummer from Sacramento, California. He plays all different types of genres ranging from jazz to punk consistently. He is currently studying at the California Jazz Conservatory with Gerald Cleaver. Carson plays in many different bands in many venues all over Northern California.

Thomas Bombara is a tenor saxophonist and composer based in New York City. He is currently studying at the New School. Thomas has been playing for about a 10 years and has studied under many names in music including Buster Williams. He explores many different sounds through his saxophone and composing.
