Overview:
We at Citizen Circle wanted to carve out an evening to come together as a community to celebrate, share, and learn about the stories of amazing people who shape our neighborhoods, our city, and our community at large.
Over the past three months, Citizen Circle members selected people we view as "community heroes," interviewed them, and crafted projects to bring forth their stories.
At our event, you’ll learn about a wide variety of people such as a teacher at George Washington High School, a KQED journalist, a human rights activist, family members, and more, through stories collected and shared by our current members, who include both high school students and professionals!
We are thrilled to showcase our work with all of you -- our peers, families, and friends -- for what we hope will be an inspiring event!
What To Expect:
- Poster Art Gallery- Short Video Presentations- Student and Adult MCs to guide us through the evening- Music - Food
We are selling tickets for $12, but we want to make sure that everyone can join us. If cost is a barrier to you attending, just let us know. Please register as soon as possible as space is limited!
