Pianist Eileen Huang (???), is the founder and director of International Chamber Music Camp and Festival (ICMC) in Positano, Italy, Shanghai and France since 1998. Born in Chongqing, China, Eileen began her piano studies at age 6. She immigrated to San Francisco in 1979 after China’s Cultural Revolution and received the Master of Fine Arts Degree from Mills College in Oakland, California in 1982 and was honored with the Flora Boyd Memorial Award for Best Piano Performance. Since 1990, she has taught Master classes and given piano recitals such as East meets West, Piano on Silk Road, Chopin and China, and Golden Autumn Melody in the United States, Asia, and Europe. She was also a guest performer on Chinese-American singer-songwriter Shunza’s concerts in China and Taiwan.
