Charli XCX is a pop singer-songwriter from Essex, United Kingdom. Born Charlotte Emma Aitchison, the artist grew a cult following with the release of her 2013 debut studio album True Romance. After releasing the single "SuperLove" in 2013, Charli's commercial breakthrough arrived the following year with her sophomore LP Sucker (2014) featuring the single "Boom Clap," which peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 and marked Charli's highest-charting solo single to date. Ahead of the album's release, the singer also collaborated with Iggy Azalea on the No. 1 hit "Fancy." Further projects in Charli's discography include the EP Vroom Vroom (2016), mixtapes Number 1 Angel and Pop 2 (both 2017) and studio albums Charli (2019), How I'm Feeling Now (2020) and Crash (2022).
