A hands on opportunity to know thyself through guided meditation and collage. Who are you really? What wants to shift within you?
The chakra system is a series of seven energy centers with different themes that govern your life ranging from physical to spiritual. I will be teaching active meditation techniques like grounding and visualization that will guide you to explore the unique qualities of each chakra and release blocks that interfere with it's function. We will be sitting on stools to start so please bring flat pillows for your comfort needs.
We will then be using the art of collage to make small cards representing each chakra, letting our intuition speak to us as we further explore each chakra. We will then have time to share and integrate what we have learned with some final meditation.
There will be a short intro describing meditation techniques and chakra system.
1st week: Fist chakra, located at perineum. Physical life/body. Security needs. Group/tribe connection.
2nd week: Second chakra, located at lower belly. Emotional life. Relationships/desire. Money/abundance.
3rd week: Third chakra, located at solar plexus. Personal power/stamina. Self esteem/will
4th week: Fourth chakra, located at sternum. Give and receive love. Forgiveness. Commitment.
5th week: Fifth chakra, located at throat. Ability to speak truth/create your truth.
6th week: Sixth chakra, located at forehead. Intuition/observer. Trusting your vision. Open mind.
7th week: Seventh chakra, located at top of head. connection to divine/higher self. Knowing truth from lie.
