In this all level clay workshop, you will create a ceramic wall hanging to fill your house with beauty. We will focus on transforming a simple material into a lasting work of art, considering balance, design, and color. Two types of pattern design (organic or geometric) will be introduced for you to choose from. Students will enjoy learning the meditative practice of rolling, cutting, patterning, and painting slabs of clay with underglaze.
Materials included: Firing, glaze, tools, and clay provided.
Students will pick up their wall hangings two weeks after the class once it has been fired.
This workshop will be on Sunday October 22nd from 1-4pm at the LPP Workshop (855 Valencia Street). Light snacks and drinks will be provided. Limited to 6 students.
All workshops include 20% discount in the LPP shop the day of their workshop.
If you need to cancel a class then it must be done 72 hours prior. We only give class/store credit. This is non-negotiable. Currently classes are 21+.
