The Melody Chorus Society proudly presents "Centennial Of Wang Luobin," a concert showcasing of the vocal works of the legendary Chinese folk song composer. Known for his creative adaptation of the colorful ethnic music of Xinjiang, western China, Wang spent almost sixty years in this region, composing over 1,000 songs and seven operatic works. He is the recipient of numerous awards, including the UNESCO Award for Special Contributions to Cultural Exchanges Between East and West.
