Left Coast Chamber Ensemble presents Cello Heaven with Nina Shekhar: World Premiere Performance & Discussion, a concert featuring a new work for two cellos written for Left Coast cellists Leighton Fong and Tanya Tomkins, along with a talk with the composer and players. The program includes a performance of Shekhar's cello solo Cajón and an excerpt of Fong and Tomkins's previous cello duo collaboration, Clarice Assad's Lemuria for cellos, percussion and cello choir.
The performance will be streamed free of charge. Online RSVP is required and donations are encouraged.
