Ruth Braunstein is a much respected and beloved icon in the Bay Area art community. She opened her first gallery in Tiburon in 1961. Shortly thereafter, she relocated to San Francisco where she operated the esteemed Braunstein/Quay gallery until it's closing fifty years later in 2011. In appreciation of her continuing enthusiasm for supporting and promoting art within our community, we are excited to present this exhibition with artists from her original and enduring program. Artists include Tom Bolles, Robert Brady, Bean Finneran, Gyongy Laky, Cork Marcheschi, Grace Munakata, Craig Nagasawa and Richard Shaw. We look forward to presenting this festive event in collaboration with Ruth and her artists.
Exhibition on view through February 27th, 2016
