Family members are welcome!
Join us for this special event of awards, prizes, food, music and family fun where each of the top ten winning entries will recite their essays and each essay will be on display in large format for all to admire. Teachers of the top ten winning students will receive cash awards to use for immigration-related education or field trips. And, the top winner will receive the singular honor of representing Northern California in the 2019 national Celebrate America contest.
Special representatives from U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services, members of the U.S. Congress, and local city/county supervisors will be in attendance.
