Piedmont, CA - Kehilla Community Synagogue, a spiritual home for politically progressive people, will honor its 40th anniversary with Wellspring: 40 Years of Music, Joy, and Social Justice. The in-person and streaming event happens on March 5, 2024, at Freight & Salvage, Berkeley (2020 Addison Street) at 7:00 p.m. The evening will be filled with inspiring music from internationally acclaimed musician Melanie DeMore, Hazzan Shulamit Wise Fairman, Rabbi Hanna Tiferet Siegel, the Kehilla Klezmer Band, and other special guests. Doors open at 6:00 pm, performance at 7:00 pm.
