Cast Members from The Color Purple

Feinstein’s at the Nikko and SHN are thrilled to bring you #Throwback: THE COLOR PURPLE Takes It Back Ol’ School!, a special evening of songs from the ‘80s and ‘90s performed by cast members from the national tour of THE COLOR PURPLE, the 2016 Tony Award® winner for Best Musical Revival.

Hailed as “a direct hit to the heart” (The Hollywood Reporter), this joyous American classic about a young woman’s journey to love and triumph in the American South has conquered Broadway in an all-new "ravishingly reconceived production that is a glory to behold” (The New York Times) directed by Tony Award winner John Doyle.

With a soul-raising, Grammy®-winning score of jazz, gospel, ragtime and blues, THE COLOR PURPLE gives an exhilarating new spirit to this Pulitzer Prize-winning story.

All ticket proceeds benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, helping to ensure that the most vulnerable among us in all 50 states receive lifesaving medication, healthy meals, counseling and emergency assistance.

Guests will also have the opportunity to bid on unique and one-of-a-kind merchandise from The Color Purple, as well as gift certificates and merchandise from Feinstein’s at the Nikko.
