Casey Benjamin is a time GRAMMY® award-winning artist and the first original member of the Robert Glasper Experiment. Through his melodic ingenuity on the vocoder, textual mastery on the keytar and spiky virtuosity on the alto, soprano and tenor saxophone, Benjamin gives the Experiment its most defining sound that has enabled the group to gain international acclaim in the jazz, R&B and hip-hop scenes on trailblazing Blue Note Records albums Black Radio (2012) and Black Radio 2 (2013).

In addition to the Experiment, Benjamin toured with singer Patrick Stump (Fall Out Boy) and has performed, toured, and recorded with a string of other stellar musicians including singer Betty Carter, vibraphonist Stefon Harris, trumpeter Roy Hargrove, Nas, Kendrick Lamar, Mos Def, A Tribe Called Quest, Wyclef Jean, Anderson Paak, Common, Maxwell, Mary J. Blige, John Legend, Lady Gaga and Beyoncé.

Benjamin co-leads the funk-forward combo HEAVY with singer and songwriter Nicky Guiland. The group has released three discs: HEAVY (Kindred Spirits, 2000), Jazz Money$$ (BBE, 2007) and First Sessions (Kindred Spirits, 2008).

Benjamin remains a central member of the Robert Glasper Experiment and continues to collaborate with a wide range of artists in all genres, while he's working on a forthcoming solo album.

Stout began her musical endeavors at the age of 3 where she was born and raised, in New Haven, Connecticut, in her great grandmother's basement church. She began playing the drums for church service, and then started singing in the children's choir, and her passion for performing became a constant motivating force.

From local church concerts and services, she landed a dream job as a backing vocalist for Alicia Keys, touring the world with the legendary artist from 2003 through 2006, and sharing the stage with other legends including Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon, Carlos Santana, Missy Elliot, Gwen Stefani, Usher, Lenny Kravitz, John Mayer, and more.

Stout found herself performing on daytime and late-night television, from Oprah and Ellen to the Late Show with David Letterman and the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Jimmy Fallon, and also on award shows including the GRAMMYs and MTV Video Music Awards.

Her debut album Awakened, under her former artist name of Denise Renee, charted at #11 on the Billboard Gospel Charts.

After joining Childish Gambino in 2016 as a performer and vocal director, Stout joined Cory Henry and The Funk Apostles to tour the world. In 2018 she debuted her solo single Queen, which generated immediate buzz.

Stout's 2021 debut album, Anomaly, is streaming worldwide, and she'll open for Ledisi on her fall U.S. tour this November.

Wherever she's performed, Stout has made her mark on audiences across the country and beyond, leaving her heart on the stage, and an imprint on all who've seen her.
