Carved Paper: Innovative Technique to add amazing texture and lines to your ART!

Award winning artist Eileen P. Goldenberg will teach you many ways to CARVE PAPER!
This will be a FUN workshop teaching you how to create texture, line and shapes in your artwork.  Using a variety of colored pencils, crayons, and graphite on different types of paper, Eileen will demonstrate this innovative technique with specific tools. She teaches in a positive, supportive style: leave your inner critic home!
Urban Sketchers, as well as artists who work in abstract styles, will love this technique.
A FREE Starter Kit will be included! This class is for beginners as well as established artists.
Eileen P. Goldenberg works in many mediums, including Tempered Beeswax, Hand Thrown Porcelain, Abstract works on paper and is an avid Urban Sketcher. She is a professional, full time artist and teacher in business for the past 50 years.
 
FAQs
 What can I bring into the event?
Bring a variety of your favorite papers, (not larger than 8”x10” please), watercolor, mixed media, Bristol, etc. Heavier papers (over 90 lbs.),work best.
If you want to use  sketchbooks, please bring a piece of cardboard, or heavy paper to put behind the piece you are working on.
 Any colored pencils will work, watercolor or permanent. I like the Faber Castell. You can also bring a small watercolor palette with waterbrush. Soft crayons such as Neo 2 crayons, or Lyra Crayons, other pastels Graphite in any form, solid sticks, pencils, etc. softer ones, like 4b will work.
 Your starter kit will have papers, pencils, tools, etc.
