Carmel Bach Festival: Pre-Concert Lecture & Bach to Faure

The Carmel Bach Festival continues at the Sunset Center with a special performance and pre-concert lecture. Beginning at 6:45pm, festival dramaturge David Gordon will introduce the jubilant music of Bach and Handel, the sublime "Requiem" of Faure, and a world premiere by composer Thea Musgrave. Then, at 8pm, audiences will be able to listen to the pieces discussed in the lecture under the direction of conductor Paul Goodwin.
