"BLACK CUISINE HAS BEEN CANCELLED
Hello Everyone,
We regret to inform you that the 40th Annual Black Cuisine Event has been cancelled. All major events in San Francisco have been canceled over the next 2 week period as a public health and safety precaution to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) in the City of San Francisco.
Please note: individuals are able to go to the Dr. George W. Davis Senior Center from 11AM to 5PM to pick up a plate or get a refund of pre-purchased food tickets - however individuals cannot stay/gather at the senior center for more than picking up a plate of food.
We are very sorry to all of our vendors, entertainment, seniors, volunteers, staff, chef and nutrition team who have been cooking and working so hard all week long to prepare for the 40th Anniversary in anticipation of Black Cuisine with so much excitement and enthusiasm to celebrate this homecoming event and reunion.
All of our very best, Bayview Senior Services Team

Come back for a family re-union of all of the years of finding old friends and meeting new ones while sharing delectable soul food.
Share some family legacy and get in that cooking contest and show the judges what real soul food is about or just come learn how food sustained African Americans . Honor the legacy of great music, including the reunion of Grand Theft a band that generated in Bayview over 40 years ago with members who went on to join the Whispers, as well as the Seastrunk Brothers and local community talent.
