About the Films
Call Me By Your Name takes place in the summer of 1983, in the north of Italy. The film follows Elio Perlman (Timothée Chalamet), a 17-year-old American who spends his days in his family's 17th century villa lazily transcribing music and flirting with his friend Marzia (Esther Garrel). One day, Oliver (Armie Hammer), a 24-year-old graduate student working on his doctorate arrives as the annual summer intern tasked with helping Elio's father (Michael Stuhlbarg), an eminent professor specializing in Greco-Roman culture. Soon, Elio and Oliver discover a summer that will alter their lives forever. Call Me By Your Name won an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay.
Disney Pixar’s Up tells the story of a 78-year-old curmudgeonly balloon salesman—not your average hero. When he ties thousands of balloons to his house and flies away to the wilds of South America, he finally fulfills his lifelong dream of adventure. But after Carl discovers an 8-year-old stowaway named Russell, this unlikely duo soon finds themselves on a hilarious journey in a lost world filled with danger and surprises. Up received Academy Awards for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Score, and won three Grammy Awards for Michael Giacchino’s delightful score.
