His soothing baritone voice, cosmic electric baritone ukulele, and his hilarious stage presence is infectious and leaves audiences wanting more. He started playing guitar in 1990 and continues to this day; however, when he picked up his first ukulele in 2010, he was immediately captivated and made it his focus. The simplicity of the four strings and a raised low note made the use of chord clusters, chordal melodies, and a distinct improvisational technique possible for Blaze. He received his master’s degree in 2010 and, since then, he stays extremely busy teaching and performing.
